Character History:  Light was born on February 28, 1986. A normal every day student at Daikoku Private Academy until the day came he ran across the Death Note, which he found to have the power to kill people within 40 seconds insistently when their name was written on it. He used the skill to rid the world of criminals, but became obsessed with the power and started using it to his advantage for more then just that simple purpose.

 Character Personality: Light is a very brilliant/ intelligent / athlete man who becomes bored very easily. Egomaniacal, self-assured, conceited power junkie ( A man who likes to play god and thinks that if by killing off all the bad guys using the Death Note it will make the world a better place.)
